UPDATE FROM ESKOM – PROTEST

“Good morning. We have confirmed reports of protest action at several power stations preventing staff from work.

Contingency plans have kicked in to provide support where there are shortages of resources.

We appreciate and thank employees who continue to work to keep the lights on. The safety of all employees is of paramount importance to us.

The situation is being assessed and information will be shared as the protest action unfolds.”
