EGCCI President’s Merit Awards Banquet
The EGCCI President’s Merit Awards Banquet was held on Thursday, 17 Novemver 2016, at Riverside Country Estate, Grootvaly, Springs.
The purpose of the Banquet is to honour businesses and individuals in various categories.
1st Photo – John Petterson from Diesel Electric received their award for Corporate Social Investment.
2nd Photo – Louise Schaap, Janton Engineering Works for Skills Development and Corporate Social Investment.
3rd Photo – Linda Broodryk, Enchanted Wedding Designs, for Social Upliftment of the Community.
4th Photo – Dirk Booyen, Father of Fernando Booysen, received Fernando’s Award for Outstanding Sports Achievement (Wresling). At the time of the Banquet, Fernando was in Leipzig, Germany, participating in wrestling competitions.
5th Photo – Mr Kirsten, father of Odine Kirsten (21), received her Award for Outstanding Sports Achievement (Cricket – ICC Women’s World T20 India 2016 tournament, which they have won).
6th Photo – Geanne Dicks (right) received her award from President Mary Reynolds for Oustanding Sports Achievement (Boxing)
7th Photo – Stan Madden received an Award for Environment (Maryvale Bird Sanctuary and Blesbokspuit Trust, both in the Springs vicinity).
8th Photo – Renette Venter – Category Individual Member of the Chamber – Social Upliftment in the Community.
9th Photo -Philip de Jager – Individual Member of the Chamber – for his commitment and dedication towards the Chamber. He has for the past 42 years served as a co-opted Executive Committee member non-stop. 9th Photograph
